Concentrated

  1. On the pool page at Dexlyn Site  click on “Create Pool” to begin the pool creation process. A list of tokens will be displayed. If you select two tokens that already have an existing pool, a validation message will appear, and you’ll be given the option to add liquidity to that pool instead. You can only create a new pool for token pairs that do not yet have an existing pool.

  2. Next, select a fee tier for the pool you are going to create. There are four tiers that are supported now, which are 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.25% 1% and 2%respectively. For most non-stable trading pairs, 0.25% is always the most adopted fee tier. For a relatively rare asset that is rarely traded, 1% can be selected to give enough motivation to LPs. 0.01% and 0.05% are usually used for stable trading pairs. Please select a suitable fee tier for your pool if you want the pool you created to be utilized by more transactions.

  3. Then you have to set an initial price for the pool. Please specify a realistic starting price; else, you may incur enormous temporary loss. Furthermore, you must specify a price range within which you intend to distribute your first liquidity. The original price must fall within the range you specified.

  4. After you’ve set all of the fundamental parameters, input the amount of liquidity you want to offer to the pool as starting liquidity. Simply enter the amount for one of the tokens, and the amount for the other will be computed automatically based on the initial price and price range you provide.

  5. Once all of the essential parameters have been entered, you may proceed to confirm pool creation and approve the transaction in your wallet to contribute the initial liquidity. Upon successful addition, you will obtain a position NFT that represents your liquidity.

  6. After the pool is formed, it may take a few minutes for it to appear or be searchable on the Dexlyn interface. Once visible, users can start swapping and supplying liquidity in the new market you’ve just created.
